Alternatively - Repeat prescriptions can be requested at the surgery, or by arranging for a local pharmacy to order on your behalf.
Please note: A Repeat Prescription simply means that a GP has authorised you to order medication without the need to see a doctor. for a set period of time (usually 12 months)
This does not mean that the medication will be ordered on your behalf - you will still need to request the medication when required.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and you will be contacted by the surgery when this review is due.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow FIVE full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
