Appointments

Telephone 20 226057

The quickest way to book an appointment or enquire about a medical matter is to call the surgery. However you can contact us for NON-URGENT medical queries or appointments by e-mailing us on us on practice.manager.w97061@wales.nhs.uk

Routine ( non urgent )Appointments

These appointments are released every morning for 7 days ahead ( ie on a Monday the appointments are released for the following Monday ect ) Our Doctors work a fixed number of days - if you prefer to see a particular Doctor please check with the reception team or the staff page of the website for their working days. Routine appointments are booked on a first come first served basis - but appointments are released every day.

Emergency Appointments

These are 'same day' appointments for urgent medical problems that cannot wait. Please call before 10.30 to book. These appointments can fill up quickly- calls after 10.30 will be assessed by the Duty Doctor for urgency. Depending on the nature of the problem, it may not always be possible to see you on the same day.

Please be aware that the Doctor has asked the reception team to ask the reason for your call. This is to make sure you are booked in with the most appropriate clinician and to ensure that the most unwell or vulnerable patients are prioritised

Telephone Advice

Telephone - 20 226057

Often you may feel that all you need is a quick word with someone on the telephone. Start by asking the receptionist.  When she can, she will put you through to the appropriate person - doctor, nurse, health visitor, midwife or practice manager.  If the person you need is already with a patient, the receptionist will take your details or ask you to call back.  A phone call can often save you and your doctor a lot of time and effort.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
